I find it hard to believe someone would go through all that trouble only to wear their baseball cap on backwards exposing their entire face. Perhaps too much credit is given to assume they would actually be wearing a costume of some sort.

I think they wanted to "blend" in with the crowd and not think about the implications of their act

well as Forest Gump said..... "stupid is".....

It may be as simple as a couple of disgruntled miscreants who never thought about ever being noticed by cell phone video, pics and surveillance video from businesses.

Or they could have been wearing fake noses and wigs or whatever.

This all is surreal and seems like some amateur work by the feds if you ask me. Pretty unprecedented to do this

but for the life of me it seems like a desperate measure for the feds to do this.

seems like a rush to find an answer to who did it rather than to follow the evidence.

which I blame of the friggin 24/7 news coverage

and a really impatient society that thrives on the bullshit

It very well could be they ( the FBI ) fear the people are from another country and might disappear before they can talk to them..

in the 75,000+ runners and probably 200,000 plus crowd I would think it's like finding a needle in a haystack. OK two people with similar backpacks... What are the odds it happening and that the backpacks could happen to be the same model as those used. Well in the almost 300,000 people I have no idea the odds of a certain backpack being used more than a few times.

I guess I would not want to let anyone slip away as that race brings people from around the world..

I would not want to be the investigator looking into this as I would imagine people are expecting results right away..

One of two suspects wanted in Monday’s deadly Boston marathon bombing was killed early Friday in a violent standoff with the police in a quiet residential neighborhood just west of Boston. The second suspect remained at large following what authorities described as a deadly crime spree that left one police officer dead and another seriously wounded.

the overnight items coming in are insane: gunfight, explosive (at least one explosion) and the man hunt, death of one of the suspects...
