BLOGS -WTF-

Disclaimer: This opinion in no way is meant to be mean to anyone that blogs or Bloggers if you will. With tht said....here we go...........

What is up with blogging?...Are all blogs just about what people did that day or just what thier opinion is? Do people log on to another persons blog to see what they ate for dinner or how it tasted?

Im not trying to be mean just trying to understand.

Even news blogs really have no one to answer too as far as accuracy or bias...or is that it...the fact that blogs can be basically biased one way and you have to try to find a blog or a blogger that leans toward your way of thinking? If that is the case then is their any real benefit from reading a blog beside finding other people that think like you do? Cuz I like a good dissagreement every now and again.

To a certain extent Blogs are anonymous, if you blog on a website not visited by people who know you personally then people only learn about you by what you write. This gives you an opportunity to be somebody completely different or to be completely honest.

I have discovered through blogging that I lead an uneventful life - not unfulfilling, just uneventful from an outsiders view, but I read a couple of blogs by people whose lives are eventful.

Once uopn a time no one knew who you were or where you came from, then came the printing press & some writers became known - then mass production & thousands of writers - now anyone can have their say, be they boring (like this) or not.

I can see that.....I guess thats why I never blog....all my life Ive had a problem with saying exactly whats on my mind. I have absolutely no problem with it. In fact it has gotten me into alot of fights and trouble in general...lol. Also, what goes along with always saying whats on my mind.....is the pleasure of actually saying it to someones face. That sounds kinda harsh, but it wasnt meant to be mean lol.

These days I pretty much do the same thing - say what's on my mind - but with age also comes responsibility & my main motto is "Do whatever you want, just don't hurt anyone". So I have to be a little guarded, not in what I say, but how I say it.

I didn't exactly obey my own credo when i was younger & ended up in a bit of shit sometimes.

I agree....I think I picked the right job then. I joined the Mrine Corps almost 8 years ago so Ive had a little experience with "with age comes responsibility" But its lil easier to get around being a Marine. Its kind of a double edged sword tho. It means alot more if I relly piss someone off. Either he is higher rnk and Im in trouble.....or I just lost the faith of some young buck that I supervise. But for the record Im starting a blog tomorrow. :lol
