Gold is $23 trillion market cap and Bitcoin is $2.17 trillion market cap. Gold is number one asset, where as Bitcoin is number 7 by market cap. Do you think Bitcoin will replace Gold as number one asset?

When you look at how fast bitcoin has grown to even reach that number 7 spot, there is every reason to believe that bitcoin should be number two investment asset in five years. But I don't think it can ever displace gold.

I don't think Bitcoin will replace Gold but I do believe it will be number 2 asset by market cap.

I also don’t think Bitcoin will fully replace gold. While it’s gaining popularity as a digital asset, gold has centuries of trust as a tangible store of value. They might coexist, serving different purposes in investment portfolios.

It is not only the centuries old trust, it is also related to having tangible value. Gold has ornamental usage as well as industrial usage, which makes is high in demand.

Bitcoin and gold serve different purposes. Gold is a long-established store of value with physical backing, while Bitcoin is a digital asset offering decentralization and potential high returns, but with higher volatility and regulatory uncertainty.

It's indeed a great show by bitcoin if it has come yo number 7 in such a short span of time. Gold has existed for centuries. I am very much sure that bitcoin will never replace gold. But seeing the trend, Bitcoin will keep emerging as a strong asset.

Bitcoin has strong growth potential, but replacing gold as the top asset depends on adoption, regulation, and long-term stability.

I don't think so bitcoin will be considered as the top asset here because of the rules and regulations. Gold is always a number one option for the investment here.

if you compare how Bitcoin performed against gold, you will see that Bitcoin became one of the top assets just in 15 years, however, if you compare how gold is performing against bitcoin in 2025, you will see gold is doing better this year.

Bitcoin is also quite stable as well. However, as far as gold is concerned, things are quite different. Gold has a large marketcap. However, bitcoin's value has increased in a far much better manner. Bitcoin was worth 10 cents in the year 2008, now it is more than $100,000.

Gold recently tough 30 million market cap. However, Gold has remained with us for a very long time, Bitcoin is less than 20 years old, yet managed to grow rapidly.
