I think pics # 3 + 4 are Solitary Sandpipers but I'm not 100 % sure. Sandpipers can be very difficult to id because so many species have numerous similarities.

I have id the #3 and #4, the legs are a good give away, they are not the lesser yellowlegs, but greater yellowlegs

Yeah, I was waffling back and forth between a Solitary or Greater Yellowlegs. They all look so similar. :surrender

#1 and #2 look like some kind of Gulls or maybe a native tern
I used to be pretty good with birds and I can say with absolute certainty that it's not a gull.

Possibly it is a Tern, but a juvenile one
 That's what I was thinking. I'll have to find out what kind of terns are common around here. I got dive bombed a few times so there were probably young ones around.

btw Zirc I like the in-flight shots. You done purdy good.

This is the site I start at when I want to to ID birds. It can take some time but it's worth it.

Locate the American Coot and listen to it's sound. ;)
Thanks for the website! Based on info from there I'm thinking that the first two pics are of a juvenile black tern. :)
