When you give someone power over your life, they tend not to want to give it back ..... like ever.
Toilet training when I was little, glad I learnt that lesson.
Dont ever depend on a man. hahahah

Always hold a little piece of your heart in reserve, no matter how much you think you love somebody. If you give it all away, it's that much more difficult to put it back together.

It's not really a lesson per say but my division manager on the farm I worked at years ago when I was starting out with horses said something that has stuck with me. Do your job so that you want people to know that you did it instead of doing it half-assed and sloppy. Always take pride in your work. Excellent advice. :nod:
