A mix of aerobic activity and strength training is the greatest workout for reducing your pot belly.

Cardiovascular activity, such as jogging, cycling, or swimming, can aid in the burning of calories and the reduction of overall body fat, including belly fat. Most days of the week, aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity cardiac activity.

Exercises that target the core muscles can also help tone and tighten the stomach region. Planks, sit-ups, and Russian twists are all exercises that can assist to strengthen the abdominal muscles and improve overall posture.

There are several exercises that helps one to cut out pot belly off if they are willing to work and endure the process that goes along with it. As you have rightly mentioned up in your post with exercises like planks, sit-ups, Russian twist etc they help in strengthening the core and burn the fats in the belly which are the causes if the belly having such a shape in the first place. Though it does not come quite easy as one has to go a long way most times depending on their consistency and endurance to the pains of sit-ups and planks to be done which is part of the process.

This works well for mostly men, however currently data proves women and some men need to reduce the amount of cardio because it put the body in a state of stress which produces cortisol which spikes insulin creating a gut reaction which will put weight on rather than help.

Key to bellys is to get your insulin balanced and bring your stress levels down. Then find an exercise that keeps you fit but not in a state of stress, such a walking, swimming or biking for cardio, and weights on the lower end. This way not only will your joints love you when you are older but so too will your gut and mind.

Key is insulin and cortisol... get them right and you won't ever fail again.
