I’m looking for good plant-based protein sources beyond tofu and lentils. What are your go-to high-protein vegetarian foods? How do you incorporate them into meals to keep things interesting? Any favorite recipes or meal ideas?

Chickpeas, quinoa, and black beans are great! I add them to salads, soups, and stir-fries for variety and protein.

I think soybeans are best protein source for vegetarians and also vegans. You can eat the soybeans or make tofu or milk. You can also try chickpeas and other beans for protein. If you include milk products as vegetarian food, you add all kinds of milk product for protein.

Some great plant-based protein sources for vegetarians include lentils, chickpeas, tofu, tempeh, quinoa, edamame, black beans, and nuts/seeds like almonds and chia. These offer high protein, fiber, and essential nutrients, making them perfect additions to a balanced, plant-based diet.
