I think its impossible to pinpoint a single album as the greatest of 20 years given the genres and messages meant to be sent.
That's like hindering their musical genius, or putting someone on a pedestal who may not deserve it

Jesus, someone always has to get philosophical!:willy_nilly:

Ok, you can only ever listen to one album from the last 20 years ever again, which will you pick? Does that help?;)

Wow. Lots of choices.

Off the top of my head - Third Eye Blind's debut album.

Ask me tomorrow and I'll probably have a different answer.

should i rephrase it?

im a vocalist, rap is an art even if most deny it

No need to rephrase...I'm an "oldy" remember, so when I hear/see "musician" I just automatically think of someone that plays an instrument...

and even though I hate rap....it does take talent.

This is ridiculously tough, but I have to go with:

Guns N' Roses-Appetite for Destruction

and Master of Puppets-Metallica is a DAMN close second

I couldn't choose one, but here are some in no particular order.

Grace - Jeff Buckley (1996?)
OK Computer - Radiohead - (1997)
Kid A - Radiohead (1999)
Time out of Mind - Bob Dylan (1999)
American V - Johnny Cash (2006?)
In Rainbows - Radiohead (2008)

Hey, what do you know... It did end up in some sort of order.
