Oh come on, it was likely to happen sooner or later :24:holy shit!!!! i agree with dana 100% *faints*
Having been in a relationship/marriage for 20 years which ended anyway. Having tried to have another relationship, dating for the past 3 years after the divorce, I prefer to stay single.
I've never been happier, more contented and free as I am now. I can do whatever I want whenever i please without having to please or answer to someone . I love it.
It seriously bugs me to see women who think they can't live w/o a man. One relationship ends and they jump right into another one...and then repeat over and over again. They'll stay w/ guys they don't love b/c they say "I can't be alone." Don't be pathetic!!! If you rely on someone else to make you happy, you're already behind the 8-ball.
:ninja........... i could go either way......
Pretty much
Tho, there has been one where I went from one to another. I'm still with that 'other' too.:ninja:cool But being on my own was cool too. I answered to no one but myself. Not counting the 16 years PS and I have been together, I was single more than in a relationship and liked it that way. I prided myself on the fact that I didn't need a man for anything. I could go into the woods by myself and have fun. Gun? Check. Sterno? Check. We're good to go. Could even set my tent up by myself.
That said, I'm glad I'm in a wonderful relationship. I don't feel I have given up my 'independence' but truly gained a partner.
Perhaps, if I'd never had those years of independence, I'd be more (what's the word I'm looking for?) needy? Looking for a man to (what's this word I'm looking for?) make it all better? I don't know. I just know that I wouldn't be the partner I am today had I not stood on my own two feet for years. He completes me. hehehehehehehehe..... he does make it all better. Even kisses my booboo's when needed I enjoy being his ball & chain ninja He may say differently :24::ninja
Singledom has it's perks. If you're single. Embrace it.
Ah, speak of the Devil..... He's home from work...... cya.

Here's my honest to god answer.Would you rather be always single or have relationships that always fail? Which is the lesser of two evils?
:yuk:yuk:jk
So perfectly well put.
I had a feeling my wife could be "the one" on our first date when she told me her dad had wanted her to take a gun with her when she moved south LOL She could also drive my standard shift truck:thumbup

There's no reason to be single nowadays when you can get both companionship and sexual pleasure from dolphins
