Bees!!

These pictures really don't do the weirdness justice. But I stepped out into my back yard and noticed hundreds and hundreds of bees on the sedums. I've searched everywhere and can't find the hive...they are extremely docile as I was right in there pretty close to them and they didn't pay me any mind. There were a few butterflies and bumble bees mixed in with the honey bees as well:

Thanks, Soph...my backyard is my favorite "room" at my house. I have loads of flowers back there and normally don't have bees like that.

Yeah, it was the weirdest thing! They were so docile and really didn't buzz around me too much...they were so engrossed in what they were doing that they didn't even come near me. The picture of the little butterfly and bee I literally had my camera up on them...and there were other bees around...and nothing.

bees are mans friend.....at the end of the flowering season sedums come into flower providing insects such as bees with much needed nectar.....good pics me dear

Seriously a lot of bees on that flower
