All I knew is that its "just about a mile from Texeyecana in those old cotton fields"

really, you guys really didn't know New Orleans was in Louisiana? not even after Katrina? Jazz, Cajun - not just new orleans - Katrina, crawfish - not just New Orleans

ALL of Louisiana has these things.

oops I mean all of South Louisiana has these things.

lol - true - sorry - don't even ask me what other city exists in Australia except Sydney.

And it was more of a "maybe new orleans isn't as widely known as I thought" sort of disbelief that came from you not knowing it was in louisiana

when I went to paris, I had say new orleans for people to know where louisiana was. then they would sing Louis Armstrong.

When I say where I live...people only know it because Russel Crowe got married here, and has property too.

His parents live locally and run a business.

My little home town was quite famous for a while with all the "BIG" Hollywood start flying in for the wedding

You guys wanna come for Mardi Gras, I will meet you there.

Thank you but no. When we eventually get there it will be when it is cooler out and not a lot of people around. The only way I want to see Mardi Gras is from a hotel balcony looking down on the madness. And then, still not so much. Off-Season for us.
