So you guys might see a lot more of me for the next 48 hours. Tonight I had some spotting and called the nurse and she said bedrest for 48 hours. She told me spotting is not normal nor is it a good sign, however other people have told me they spotted and were just fine. So I'm really hoping this is the case. And you know I really hope my work fires me for this so I can sue the crap out of them. They are being sooo incredibly unsensitive right now, getting off for my Dr's appt was like pulling teeth and they didnt give me off, they are just having me come in an hour later...when my Dr is 20 mins away from work...yeah right, I'm gonna be an hour or 2 late that day...too bad for them, my baby is more important to me.
 
I spotted, it's very common. Try not to worry and just take some time to sit on your ass, watch TV and pig out!

That's super shitty about work!!!!
 
I wish I had a good excuse not to work.. besides the all important "i hate my coworkers"

That gets old after a while...


Honestly though, go with your gut on these things... and not what others tell you... You know your body and what feels right... and what doesnt..
 
my boss already told me that i couldnt sit at work. even though we have barstools that make me the exact same height as when i stand...and countertops that come up to my chest almost...so no one can tell if you are sitting or standing. There is some serious discrimination going on and i dont like it one bit. It's sad because I really loved my job before I told everyone there that I was pregnant...now it's like they think I'm trying to have a pity party every day or soemthing!? I bitched my boss out because he told me there is no law that said i had to get lunch break. I told him if I don't get a lunch and I'm made to work 11 hour days then I'm quitting...he didn't like that much!
 
I am thinking you better take it easy. You have been under a lot of stress lately due to your previous post and it is time you do a you couple of days and relax.

well i told them it wasn't a lot, but it was bright red. They told me it is most likely from sex (yes we had sex before then tonight) but that they ALWAYS play on the safe side with these things and recommend bed rest.

very normal hun I had the same thing happen to me after sex and freaked, I called and they said it was from the cervix and it was nothing to worry about Im sure youll be fine as long as you have no cramping dont worry about it

One of the many things the state requires me to post in plain view in my shop is that for a shift of eight hours employees are entitled to a 30 minute break off the clock and 2 15 minute breaks on the clock.

And where are the ethics in telling a pregnant woman she can's sit? Thats a pretty poor job of managing your personnel.
