Battlebots

The newest season of Battlebots started airing last week, I just watched the first episode this morning. The show first aired on Comedy Central way back in the year 2000, and lasted a couple years until it was revived in 2015 on the Discovery Channel. I didn't start watching it until last year, other than watching one episode when I was 10 when it first came out. This show is based on a UK show called Robot Wars, though that one didn't have one on one combat with bots like Battlebots does. My favorite bots are Witch Doctor and Glitch!

And here I foolishly thought that robot battles were just a silly over the top nerdy thing that people in sitcoms and movies did and it had no base in reality. I definitely have to check this out as it sounds fascinating.
