I recently remembered a discussion on another forum about guys taking baths.... one poster in particular stated that a guy taking a bath meant he was gay. That guy is and was a moron (and some of you know who I'm talking about), but that being said... what's the opinion of everyone here on OTz?

Is taking a bath an acceptable thing for a guy to do? Or is it too "feminine"?

Poll forthcoming in case someone sees this thread before it's available.

What would a guy do if the place he was living/staying/visiting didn't have a shower head? He'd take a bath or smell!

I never heard that guys were gay if they took a bath. How stupid is that?

I, for one, enjoy a good bath with a guy..... :ninja

Voted for "I'm a girl and don't care either way". Should've voted for "I'm a girl and I think it's fine for guys" but I didn't see that option till it was too late and I'd already clicked on the other one. :'(

But yeah it doesn't matter D:

That was my mistake... I had changed poll options and left that one there without realizing it.

I don't do it very often but I did during my recovery from surgery. I treated it as my mini people soup pot. It's very relaxing and helps sore, tired aching muscles.

I have no idea how someone could equate that as being gay.

Back in my first year at uni when I lived in halls, we had shared bathrooms. There were showers, but only 2 to a whole floor, where as there were 6 or 7 baths in much less demand. Usually two baths to a room, with a partitioning wall. So we'd usually time our bathes to the same time as someone else we knew. It's a little disconcerting if a stranger gets into the bath a few metres away.
It was good fun taking baths though, cranking out the tunes, smoking up, and sharing some drink by rolling the bottle under the gap of the partioning wall.

I don't take baths often now, maybe only once a month. But its a good way to relax if you've got music and a book.

:homo: Nothing like a hot bath after a hard days work.
and there's nothing fruity about throwing some bubbles in there either!

it isn't just the weary bones and joints that the bath is good for -- some of us get so dirty that a shower isn't enough to get all the grease and grime off.

as for coed bathing, i prefer the shower to the tub -- too cramped laying down in a conventional tub -- more room standing in the shower.
