what does the dimmensions of the banner need to be?

300px X 122px I can resize the file size later so don't worry about compression...

If you need more width that's fine, you can go over the 300px, but try to keep it within the 122px height

We can't use the entire top area. We use both fixed and fluid versions of this site. If we only used the fixed version, we could use a fixed size header. But since we use a fluid version, I have to use 3 separate images. Left logo, spacer (1px wide x full height) and right.
