The dog easily alluded the capture of his owner, according to the officer, what if the dog had jumped on the officer, and bit him in the jugular? That's fairly common practice for a dog that is taking down it's prey or defending itself.

What TV shows do you watch?

Cops are like anyone else. Some are good at what they do and some jump the gun. This cop jumped the gun.

What?

I based my statement off a combination of personal experiences, and information that I've read.

When I had my old lab, Buddy, I saw him get attacked by a German Shepard, and the first place it went was for his throat.

Spot was attacked by a wolf dog of some kind, and the first place it went to bite was the side of spots neck.

Why? Because instinctually they know that area will take their prey down.

I think the cop over-reacted or panicked...surely there was a better way to resolve the issue, but I do think the FB "justice" groups and hype is a tad over-kill, peoples be crazy. :willy_nilly:

LOL, true. Usually a bunch of people who have allowed their emotions to overwhelm critical thinking ...

You give them too much credit. Proper critical thinking would bring them to the conclusion that they are wasting their time.

A little information for you. Having a domesticated dog bite in a specific area on a regular basis by the same dog is a LEARNED behavior.

As far as your lab getting bitten goes, the dynamics of a dog going after another dog is very different than an aggressive dog going after a human being. Dogs CAN get into "fights" with other dogs and still not be aggressive towards humans.

A sincere question.

How does the dog know what a man made weapon is and how do they know to attack it?

I'm curious as to how you're going to answer that.

Asked to search my vehicle. Found a empty cough medicine bottle (kids cough medicine) then made statements of me making meth. Then found a pair of female socks of my girlfriends. Accused me of being a transvestite.

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER consent to a search EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They have no fucking right to search you and that is why they ASKED you. You probably were not aware of your rights at the time - but NEVER let those fuckers search your car.

We are losing rights every single day - make them follow the law and stand up for your rights.

I am going to say he shot the dog..as he had the "suspect" and the dog to both worry about and felt overwhelmed.

He didnt have time to see what the dog would do..I am guessing the man and the dog werent both in front of him.

What I find odd is why did the neighbor give the wrong address?

Maybe the cop went to the wrong house?...but was given the proper address.

If the neighbor did give the wrong address I would sue the neighbors.

A lot of people don't know their neighbor's addresses. Around here it's very common for house numbers to skip (for instance, my street goes from 420 to 500). The article states the officer went to the address provided by the 911 call. I'm curious, though, as to whether or not the dog owner was the caller and his address was used as a reference point. Lots of questions.

His address would should up if he called from a land line right?
But how would he know it was a choking unless it was outdoors?
But lets say it was him that called and the cop went to his house..it would be the cops error by going up to a witness as a suspect..if that was the case.

Major error...while possible not likely.
Which makes me think the call originated from within the house with the violence.

Around here alot of houses dont have numbers..if one was in a hurry he could very well go up to a wrong house.

I am just guessing here..but i think its possible the cop went to the wrong house...but was given the right address
