If you guys dont mind, I want to vent a little.

I know that I have shared some stories with yall about some things that happen at work, some are funny, some are sad. But what happened last night beats it all. It was absoltely horrible.

I have never seen a birthed baby at 16 wks. The mom (16 yrs old) was 16 wks pregnant when she comes running into the ER yelling that the baby is coming out. Well low and behold, I couldnt get a nurse to come out quick enough so I plopped her in a wheelchair and wheeled her back myself to a room. Im helping her get undressed and getting her into a gown when she started pushing and here comes a baby! Im like Holy Shit! I got to help deliver the baby but the sad part was that the baby was dead. I havent let something like that affect me as bad as it has. The little baby had arms and legs and eyes and nose and everything! I personally didnt know that at only 16 wks pregnant that the baby was that already developed. The nurse laid the baby on some sheets and covered it up. I couldnt take it. I just wanted to uncover that baby and make everything alright.

I couldn't do what you do Amy. I have no idea how you can deal with some of the things you see on a daily basis. I know it takes a strong will to deal with that kind of stuff.

Still birthed children are always a sad case. But, you just have to realize it wasn't meant to be. It's sad, but now maybe the girl has a second chance at being successful in life before having a child.
