Has anybody on here ever done the Avon/Mary Kay thing? How'd it work out for you?

my parents did the avon thing for a while and they made some money with it. i cant exactly say how much as i dont know, but they did make money.

I know ppl who do Avon - it all depends how many ppl actually place orders and what amounts those orders are, as to how much you can or will make on it. It can be a lot of work for next to nothing, or if you're prepared to go all out with it, it could be pretty successful.

I doubt you could have it as your full-time job, but for a little extra money you could do OK.

My stepmom does the Mary Kay thing.. it bring in on a good month an additional 2 or 3 grand but on average shes bringin in 500-600 a month...

it takes a lot of dedication, and a lot of investing on yourself as well as product... not worth it.

a friend of my wife did it and she just spent 1500+ on product for nothing.
