Oh really??? Here's a bit:

"The first ever GAO(Government Accountability Office) audit of the Federal Reserve was carried out in the past few months due to the Ron Paul, Alan Grayson Amendment to the Dodd-Frank bill, which passed last year. Jim DeMint, a Republican Senator, and Bernie Sanders, an independent Senator, led the charge for a Federal Reserve audit in the Senate, but watered down the original language of the house bill(HR1207), so that a complete audit would not be carried out. Ben Bernanke(pictured to the left), Alan Greenspan, and various other bankers vehemently opposed the audit and lied to Congress about the effects an audit would have on markets. Nevertheless, the results of the first audit in the Federal Reserve’s nearly 100 year history were posted on Senator Sander’s webpage earlier this morning: http://sanders.senate.gov/newsroom/news/?id=9e2a4ea8-6e73-4be2-a753-62060dcbb3c3

What was revealed in the audit was startling: $16,000,000,000,000.00 had been secretly given out to US banks and corporations and foreign banks everywhere from France to Scotland. From the period between December 2007 and June 2010, the Federal Reserve had secretly bailed out many of the world’s banks, corporations, and governments. The Federal Reserve likes to refer to these secret bailouts as an all-inclusive loan program, but virtually none of the money has been returned and it was loaned out at 0% interest. Why the Federal Reserve had never been public about this or even informed the United States Congress about the $16 trillion dollar bailout is obvious — the American public would have been outraged to find out that the Federal Reserve bailed out foreign banks while Americans were struggling to find jobs."

Know the right people and this too can be you ;)

Well yeah, I was more referring to the fact that we'll never see major coverage of this in the MSM. ;)

Well, this could be one of those experiments. When something goes viral on the internet and is all over independent news blogs, the msm eventually has to cover it or look like what they are. Shills to their corporate masters.

love the crickets reference
I use that a bunch

Appropriate, no? ;)

We are so fucked and we don't even know it

I never thought our country could collapse but every day that goes by seems to make me think otherwise.

Sigh :(

Some of us know it. Those of us that read indy news blogs have known it for quite some time.

Pay no attention. It's just a 'conspiracy theory'.

Don't you question the amount of money in a 3 to 4 year period? 16 trillion? We had 16 trillion just laying around but didn't bother paying off our own debt? Kind of find this hard to believe, don't you? This doesn't even compute.

seriously if the Fed was run by some of the women who put in painstaking hours of diligent, honest work to fill their basements and garages with diapers and peanut butter you would be better off, least no worse off

these chicks are the next wave of "founding mothers"
