I'm just starting to read it, have any of you read it? What is your opinion about it?

I have that here waiting for me to read. I heard someone saying it has a dystopian type of setting, which I really like! :thumbup

Let me know what ya think of it.

I'll let you know, my mind is thinking about Anthem by Ayn Rand still, need help with a few questions about it but I can't write it down since I'm at work :)

I'm already at part two with chain... I like the setting and the first part was intriguing with how Taggart views were about monopolies.

I should get it to read again. Only read it once and that was 15 years ago give or take. All I could think of when reading it was holy shit that is where our govt is taking us in this country. It should be mandatory reading. I also liked Fountainhead. Have not read any of her other books. Rumor has it that there may be an Atlas Shrugged movie

There was a rumor that Angelina Jolie is tapped to play Dagney.

Glad you're reading it, Steph. Nice to see you take my advice about one thing at least. :p

*sticks tongue out at you*

Can I make a guess, the guy whistling that 5th symphony in the train is the musician who doesn't write songs anymore with that publisher...

I will tell you that Dagny would recognize the composer on sight... and the guy whistling is WAAYY too young to be him.

No more hints... just keep reading.

Remember... on the back half of the book you can safely skip "the Galt Speech". That'll save you 60 pages of plodding. ;)
