I'm starting to block the noise out sometimes but especially if I am outside or if it's the middle of the night, I really notice it. Zorak doesn't notice it at all.

I'm hoping we'll do a big Christmas celebration (will depend on money though I guess). I love Christmas and it's my birthday on the 23rd December

It takes a bit to get used to but when ya do.. it will be great.. I only notice really loud ones anymore.

Yeah I know what you mean.. I want to fly home for Christmas... I don't think that's going to go over well..

Awww. I'm hoping I'll be able to see my mum before Christmas. I haven't gone home yet, trying to wait till my pregnant friend has had her baby. Then I can tie in the two visits and save some money.

With me it's a $2000 just for Liam and I to fly home at least... Jim and his mom would not be pleased with me at all.. But I haven't been home for Christmas 8 Christmas's

She is due any day now! There was excitement a week or so ago because she thought she was in labour but then it turns out she wasn't.

Aww that's sad. What frustrates me is that I live fairly close (under 30miles) but can't drive, have no car and there is no direct bus/train route so the journey takes hours and hours.

Ah.. how exciting!

That sucks hun.. I drive.. but if I drove home it would take me close to a week. It's a 7 and a half plane trip.. with a stop over in Toronto.
