Ask AEF

If the person became a bothersome person then they should be warned. If they continue its up to the moderators. I wouldn't really care that much if they installed a rule like this, as long as they didn't go around banning people for no reason besides them not liking the person.

*whistles* Question not fully answered, but thanks for your attempt. :p

Haha, I'm a victim of this delusion....I think most people are.

WE all do it because I think humans like to create hope in their minds about things they want and try to will them into existence.

"I'm a victim of this delusion"<---------Aren't we all. he he he. BTW, good answer.

Since we on a roll. Here's another doozy. Now, I know this one might get you started but what the heck. It's a valid question. Here you go:

--------->If people evolved from apes, why are there still apes?

Ooh, I can answer this one. I believe that if Evolution is correct, then a certain species of ape, one which wouldn't exist anymore, evolved into humans. And if we did evolve from apes, then technically, we would be considered apes, and would be classified into that category. Just because we evolved from apes doesn't mean that all other species of apes were wiped out. Does that sound logical?:D

A common misconception about evolution is that people think Humans directly descended from the apes you see today as if man magically evolved from a chimp one day. This is false. The various apes and species that turned out to be human evolved separately, but very close to each other. Its like different breeds of dogs. They are all different, yet cousins of each other and have a common ancestor. The other apes you see today are evolved forms of their own ancestors. They just haven't evolved as much as humans have.

Well there is no technicality here, we ARE apes.

Hmm, so that means over time, another species of apes could become a different species of humans...:humm:

:o

I could live with that. Interesting.

Its possible, but as of now no evidence supports that. Odds are we'll all be wiped off the planet by an asteroid before that happens.

Yeah, actually, that could happen pretty soon. I forget where, (I believe it was the History Channel) but I heard that around 2026, a large asteroid is gonna pass close enough to Earth that it could get grabbed by the Gravitational pull of Earth and crash into the planet. That'll be bad.

Ok, here's a little trivia Mr AEF. No cheating now. Pick one and elaborate if you can. I'll let you know if you were correct or not:

Where did the capital city of California get its name?

A. It is named for angels
B. It is named for the anglos
C. It is named for a river which was named for the Christian sacraments
D. It is named for St. Francis of Assisi
