Drawing, painting, or doodling can release emotions and ease stress. Do you use art as a wellness tool? What creative activities help you express feelings or find calm?

Art is widely used tool for catharsis. I am not an artist but I write as a way to let go my stress.

No, I can’t really do art, so I don’t use drawing or painting as a wellness tool. Instead, I find calm through activities like reading, walking, or listening to music. Those give me the same sense of release that art offers others.

Someone was telling me about this the other day how they start off by doodling as a form of therapy. Then they use that doodle to color in the various random shapes. It's supposed to let the mind just relax and let go of anxiety.

As an artist, I'd probably get stressed about it not being perfect, so I don't practice that form of art.
