no, they should pay him for the opportunity to fish with him. you'd have to be a tournament bass fisherman to understand why.

instead, he would pay for a guide. people do that, you know and i saw a lot of bass talk here. i so love it when people come after me for no good reason, especially in a forum where is insulting is forbidden.

I simply took what you said at face value... it seemed odd to me, so I commented on it. If you have chosen to be offended by what I said, there's not anything that I can do about it. Just know that I'm not "coming after you" by any stretch of the imagination. I have no reason to, and I quite frankly have no desire to waste my time doing so. Don't know what else to tell 'ya.

how about that, i did say that. didn't mean to. i just meant to say that people pay for the opportunity to fish with people like him and that he is happy to hire a guide.

you have to be a tournament bass fisherman to appreciate what i mean.

he was a pioneer in catch and release tournament fishing and his team did huge amounts of conservation work rebuilding bass habitat in over-developed lakes.

we're just looking for a guide. i'll go to craigslist and put a query there. i thought i saw bass fishermen here.
