Many argue that political correctness fosters respect and inclusion, while others believe it stifles free speech and honest debate. Has the West gone too far in policing language and behavior? Where should the line be between sensitivity and censorship?

I do not think western societies care about being politically correct, I find them guided by greed. There are plenty of examples and the latest one is the war in Ukraine.

Western societies sometimes overemphasize political correctness, which can stifle open conversation. I’ve seen well-intentioned efforts turn into fear of speaking honestly, but when balanced, it promotes respect without sacrificing genuine dialogue. It’s about finding that middle ground.

I believe freedom of expression should exist among people. Many wouldn't be able to speak their minds (including the truth) because of fear of the consequences. Besides, what respect is an incompetent government expecting?
