Most of us check reviews and ratings before we try something, right? Do star ratings decide what you buy? Have you ignored something just because there were bad reviews? How reliable do you think are online opinions? When do you trust your own judgment instead of user rating and reviews?

Yes, in many cases. Reviews and ratings guide choices but can also create overreliance, limiting personal judgment. People may ignore context, manipulate systems, or follow trends blindly. Balance comes from combining feedback with individual research and critical thinking.

I think we are, to some extent. Reviews are helpful, but they can replace personal judgment and curiosity. Sometimes we over-trust star ratings instead of thinking about our own needs, context, or values, and that can narrow experiences rather than improve them.

Well, we have no option that to take seriously the rating and reviews online. Sometimes the truth we want to know about products lies with them.if you don't want to scam online then you should use them.
