Streaming dominates music consumption, affecting how artists release albums and how fans engage. Does this democratize access and creativity, or reduce artistic depth and revenue for musicians? How do algorithms shape taste and visibility, and should listeners be concerned about homogenized music experiences?

I am friends with quite a few musicians and what they tell me is when more people stream their music, the more they get paid in revenue

I haven't used any music streaming platform, I always listen to music from my digital library. I think streaming culture is helping indie artists.
