Teens increasingly struggle with insomnia, delayed sleep cycles, and restless nights, often due to screen exposure, academic pressure, or social media. Poor sleep worsens emotional control and mental health. How can families identify when sleep disruption is a clinical concern? What routines help stabilize sleep patterns?

I think this is mostly due to over use of devices, especially hand held devices. Once they start using on moderation, the sleeping disorder will go away. As far as anxiety is concerned, I do not think sleep alone is the contributing factor.

I think sleep disorders can significantly contribute to anxiety in Gen Z. Poor sleep affects emotional regulation, stress response, and concentration. When rest is disrupted regularly, worries feel louder and coping becomes harder, creating a cycle where anxiety and sleep problems feed each other.
