The Witcher 3 and Elden Ring are among the most popular open world RPGs. I believe these games are defining open world RPG scene. But there are also other popular games like Red Dead Redemption II, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, or The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
