Are K-pop Comebacks Becoming Over-Engineered?

Comebacks now involve teaser films, lore puzzles, multiple versions, and choreography leaks. Does this level of planning add excitement or overwhelm fans? Which group manages their comeback strategy best? Do you think simpler releases would still generate the same hype?

I don't listen to kpop, I know a few bands. I have seen some Korean bands become international sensation but I just don't follow this genre.

I think it's kind of over-engineered. They use heavy production but lack emotional impact. However, despite this. They create good K-pop music. I am not a huge fan of K-pop but I do not mind listening to them at times.
