Major tours from Taylor Swift and Beyoncé have seen skyrocketing ticket prices, making live music inaccessible for many fans. Are ticket prices a necessary evil, or is the industry taking advantage of demand? What is the most you would pay for a concert?

All live events have gotten crazy. Most of us have to look at after market prices which are jacked up.

The prices that concert promoters charge truly exceed reasonable level. Supporters of musical artists face difficulty affording to watch their preferred performers in concert due to the outrageous ticket prices.

Yes concert prices are so out of control, now let's not even talk about the major concerts, even the local ones around, the price for a ticket is just something else.

I've found that it's not always the pricing that's out of control...it's that these bots scoop up the tickets, mark up the prices, and then resell them.

I will admit that ticket prices for concerts have increased and some will say that they are way too high but they were always quite high. Scalpers tend to grab the tickets and then resell them at extortionate prices and that is where the issue is coming in when it comes to ridiculous prices.

I think concert ticket prices are outrageous. Concerts are too expensive for me to attend. I would prioritize buying food and medicine over a concert ticket. Hopefully, tickets will be widely available so that everyone who wants to attend the concert can.

High ticket prices feel exploitative, but demand drives them. I'd pay up to a reasonable amount for a favorite artist.

Well, recently Sonu Nigam came to out city. I like the singer and wanted to go to the concert but the lowest ticket price was 10 thousand rupees. I cannot afford to spend that kind of money for 2-3 hours event.

Expensive tickets make concerts inaccessible; enjoying music shouldn’t require spending a fortune on one event.

Concert prices have skyrocketed in recent years, with the average ticket price increasing from $25.81 in 1996 to $135.92 in 2024. This sharp rise has sparked debates about affordability and ticket pricing practices.
