too literally cops were all around the river front tonight. i guess the bridge that connect my town to downtown was blocked off with cop cars from both towns...

Police search for woman who jumped off bridge
WATERVILLE — Police are searching for a woman who jumped off the Ticonic Bridge around 4:40 p.m. The bridge crosses the Kennebec River in downtown Waterville, connecting the city to Winslow. A man crossing the bridge said he saw the woman, who appeared to be in her 30s or 40s, climb over the bridge railing and jump into the water.
Police initially blocked off the bridge to traffic and also sent rescue crews downriver.

its fun ny 30 to 40 is a big jump in age.... lol
Hey, they're lucky they got THAT out of the witness. Citizens make horrible witnesses for the most part. On a side note, when I was in elementary school a woman jumped off the Spring Street bridge in Macon and, at the time, the fire department didn't have boats yet. They commandeered my parents boat to recover the body (well, they did ASK...but same difference, LOL). I never road in that boat again.
