okay, an oldie but a goody..Socrates argues that we have been taught in our past. with that being said, how do we know what we know?

some the most profound scientific discoveries came from an idea and a desire to find ways of proving that idea/theory. not everything we know came about this way but it does seem the human race has a natural curiosity that causes us to explore and learn.

trial and error. i'd say that mostly. especially in our earlier history.
