So I haven't really cared much about who is going to be the next president of the U.S as I can't vote anyways. Last night, I watched the final debate without really leaning towards either side. After watching it I decided on Obama pearly on the debate. Because McCaine really just served to pissed me off. He never answered any of the questions, he was like blinking his black overly size pupils like crazy, and he never really told me all that much about his platform. Really just looking at the debate with an unbiased opinion I would say Obama won it. I still don't really know which would make a better president though... someone care to en-lighten me?

the objective of a debate is to not really say anything. just keep from shooting yourself in the foot.

Obama is slick. He is well spoken and comes off well. If you think he is better then you are a liberal or you were more effected by style than substance. they should make a blank screens at the debate. because people are more swayed by whether somebody winks or rolls eyes. ignoring what is being said.

both of these clowns are pathetic. they voted for the bailout and still want to put in new programs. if you were losing your house would you go out and buy a new car? that is kind of what these idiots are doing.

I was righting down the pro's and con's for each president last night. But, I couldn't find very many cons on Obama's side because no matter what McCain said his still made more sense. But, McCain didn't have good responses for so many of the things Obama said.

When a person doesn't directly answer a question it makes me feel that the answer they would of had would of been a bad one. Plus, having good debate and speech skills is a skill our president must have. Among other things, talking to nations and negotiating. We can't ignore that McCain doesn't have half the speaking skills Obama does. Because it isn't irrelevant.

mccain looked like he wanted to flip that table over and scream. he seems a little too emtionally unstable to be president... but whatever.. i think either way we are pretty much screwed.

in my opinion there never is the right person. you just have to chose the lesser of the two evils. all parties lie to get what they want. i could stand up there and make you the same promises that both of them are making, however it does not mean that its gonna happen. no one can just snap their fingers and give us what they told us they were gonna do. we have a check and balance system to prevent that. what you have to read through to figure out is who can you most relate to. thats the big question you answer everytime you vote.

Whoever gets in is going to end up wrong. Thats how politics works. I agree you need the lesser of the two evils but more a change so things dont get imbalanced. I remember the enthusiasm when Blair got in over here. He lifted things for a bit even though it was a short term PR thing. thesame seems to be happening in America. You need Omaba for a change but long term he will go the same way as everyone else.

I'm not happy with either option, but have to put in here that I think the only time Obama showed a good speaking style was when he was working directly from a script, and that felt very stylized to me. Otherwise, he seems to spend a lot of time hemming and hawing while he figures out the way to wrap things to the point he wants to make, and sometimes he manages it. I'm surprised people still think he's a got a gift of speech when what he really has a knack for chat.

I dont think Obama is a gifted speaker, he is very shrewd and intelligent though which is why I would rather see him as president. Also, i cant support McCain for his support of torture even though he was tortured himself, that seems really fucked up to me!

Lol that just because your so pro-life parka!

What I would like to see is a list of both their platforms layed out directly next to each other. Like:

(I will make up the platforms here so ya)

Health Insurance

Obama McCaine

Universal Health Reform
1) Will change within 3 years 1) Will Change within 1 year
2) Will include: blah blah blah 2) Will include: blah blah blah

Or something like that..

Nah, I like your point I would rather this be about policies than the mud slinging it's turned into. It's very undignified and frankly an embarressment.

Yeah, lol last night they started to fight about who had been doing MORE mud-slinging. If you ask me it was totally McCain.

And of course, the real trick is figuring out who might accomplish *something* with all the checks and balances we've got, it's more like Incredible Roadblocks that'll screw up any potential for change.

Obama is your guy, based solely on your belief that global warming is all our fault.

How do you feel about global warming? Could McCain is your guy based solely on the belief that global warming caused by man is absolutely impossible? :)
