my dog chewed the cord...I'm so pissed! I thought it would be no big deal to replace but the replacement is $50 through sony..ugh. Does anyone know of anyplace I could get a knock off charger that would fit my camera? or an aftermarket one possibly?

Is the cord completely gone or can you splice it back together? It's not hard to do as long as you have at least an inch of cord left at either end.

you threw the whole thing out? You could have taken the pieces to Radio Shack and they could have matched it up to another one. They only have to match the voltage and amperage... they make universal plugs for them... but without knowing the voltage or amperage, they could fry your camera

If it's just the usb cable that plugs into your computer and into the camera, then that's a standard run of the mill usb cable with the small end. You can buy it anywhere that has any type of electronics.
