Anyone else having kids at their office?

It's take your son/daughter to work day. So we have kids traipsing thru our office, some people are making presentations about what we do here, what various jobs are, what it's like working for the government, etc. Also, since we are co-located with the district office, they are bringing their kids up here to see what we do and vice-versa. So it's kind of hectic today. I dressed up very professionally so and am minding my Ps and Qs today.

Any other folks participating?

Surprisingly, no! But...then again I work with mostly older women with no kids or adult kids lol.

They do that where I work too. They keep the kids occupied all day with an itinerary of activities. Not sure what they do though. Maybe learn how college administration works?

I'm a stay-at-home mom, so yes. We're visiting family right now and my dad has been working from home since we got here. I told him to take my son to the office (their bedroom) today and my dad seemed less than thrilled. Something about having to watch him jump on the bed all day.

if by kids in your office you mean adults with the rationale of a snot-nosed 3 yr old on a I didnt get any sleep fit" yeah... as a matter of fact i work for one, and work with two others...


Some person a few yrs ago brought their kid to the office on the wring your kid to work day, he was reprimanded on the spot by one of our directors, in front of his kid... pretty shitty since we
a. Our niche audience is kids
b. We are not in a critical area or patient-side of the hospital

Since then My girls only come here when I HAVE to have them stop by, and even then i usually tell my boss my kids are here, I'm leaving early
