I have to get two teeth pulled. Not cut out, not filled, no root canal, just straight up pulled, with pliers. They tried giving me the numbing agent through a needle last month, but when the dentist started pulling, I could feel it. Long story made short, I told him to stop, he didn't, and I stood up and stormed out.
My parents suggested I go to their dentist, and get a dose or two of Halcion(Apparently it's a pill you take), and about an hour later, you're more fucked up than you've ever been before, yet mostly concious, and even though you're completely fucked up, you can still answer questions(It's basically a "concious sedation"), but the next day, you have a bit of amnesia and won't even remember the tooth pulling at all.
Anybody able to shed some light on this? I'm TERRIFIED of the dentist and cannot stand ANY pain at all. I almost die every time I so much much as walk into a table or stub my toe. But I've seen my mother under the influence of this pill when she got her teeth pulled, and it seems like a legit thing.
