I like a lot of things many people don't. I listen to a lot of rap and country. What I can't do, however, is metalcore or deathcore or anything of the like. I loved posthardcore, but the death metal influence has killed it for me these past several years. I can't do it, especially when the synths and autotune come in.

Oh man, I could not have said it better myself. If the agenda wasn't clear before, it certainly is clear in the sort of music that is promoted and made mainstream in the mainstream media. It is complete and utter drivel, with no social responsibility or feel good factor to it; designed to speed us up into more stress and anxiety, and materialism, so that we don't stop to think and actually pay attention to the hell that is going on behind closed doors in this world.
