I am rushing at Ole Miss next month and just registered. I'm so far behind the other girls it's not even funny! I need to recs to all of the nine sororities on campus, and was wondering if there are any girls on this forum that are alumnae?

first off... when i say frat, i mean both frats and sororities.

it's really not that huge of a deal. I've been to almost all the same parties as people in frats, plus, most people from fraternities that ive met are douche bags anyways. And you basically have to pay to hang out with them... plus, they have you memorize a bunch of trivial bullshit about the frat's history, and make you do a bunch of other stupid shit.

IMO, don't waste your time. Put your money and effort into something useful.

one thing about frats are they do throw some decent parties. I never was in any of them but because of baseball I had alot of friends who where in them so I got hooked up without having to hook everybody else up :ninja
