Has anyone ever been? My beau and I are going for a week in late Feb and I'm looking for any advice/recommendations/etc.

I'm so looking forward to a week on the beach and taking a real vacation.

My sister lived there for 7 years.. :D

I visited in 2001 and again in 2003..

St-John's ( the capital ) is where all the action is.. North end of the Island, as I recall, was where the nicest beaches were..

Barbuda is worth the trip over for the day.. The Snorkelling and beaches are out of this world in Barbuda. You don't need to bring your passport when you travel between Antigua and Barbuda..

Antigua WILL extradite you back to the USA, so don't kill anyone, and flee there.

That's all I've got. :tooth

Oh they have tons of hotels.. My recommendations would be to look at the Sandals but it really depends on what you are willing to spend and looking for..

We're staying in a small but very nice all inclusive resort. Thank you Groupon!

Looks fantastic! I can't wait!!! :)

You seen that bridge.. Here is the history about it.. You need to go so it to hear the water as it cannot be described.. Islanders know of this and few people get to know of it because they don't advertise it much.. I think my sister told me it was heavily damaged my people the last she heard.. Hopefully it is still intact..

But the sound of the water, from the ocean, is unbelievable...
