Can you give some example of what would be problematic in your oppinion. My essay doesn't really address any problems, so I think it would be good to hear some, so that I can try to address them.

For instance, the anti-christ one is a major concern.

I would say I am nationalistic but not racist, the balance needs to be there but some people unfortunately cant keep it.

As for giving up your national identity, I dont see it working. There are many quirks which we all like about our own country and while we can embrace others cultures, it really dosent feel like ours. For example, I as an Englishman, really dont think American football is a very good game and probably you dont thing football (soccer) is very interesting. I know of no real reason why we feel this way other than our culture. Thats not racist, its just a fact. Anyway, wouldn't life be boring if we all had the same culture?

That is really nice of you to want to get along. I don't care if your mean or not though. I am a huge introvert, my life is extremely busy. As you can see from all the papers i'm asking for advice on, I am a very very busy girl. I have a BF that I get to see maybe once a week, and friends that I get to see less. I really am not here to make friends. I don't want you to compliment my posts, and I won't yours. I ask only that you put some thought into your responses. It is extremely annoying and daunting to have to respond to a post that is.. irrational at best. If you respond with intellectual, thought-provoking posts, I will respect you, and enjoy your ideas. I love to see different point of views.
Oh, okay. I thought you were a student asking nicely of strangers to take their own valuable time to help you in research you're supposed to be doing yourself. I didn't realize you were a petulant child demanding service from adults.

This isn't an advice vending machine with a broken coin slot. This is a group of people, deserving of the respect you obviously expect but decline to offer.

Go away, little girl. When you learn courtesy - if you learn courtesy - I'll be happy to help you ... as a FRIEND. If you don't need friends, you'd better have money because my time is valuable.

Screw that shit.

When countries lose their sovereignty then we will have become robots. No wonder Obama got elected.

The problem is that the major problems facing us today are not simply national issues. They are global; from pollution to deforestation. From confiction to Aids. Nations need to come together as a whole in order to snuff these issues out. When have you ever seen the entire world come together and agree on something?

With a virtous world leader, he or she could face these problems directly. :surrender

Not often. There is a thing called survival of the fittest. It was, is, and will continue to be something that drives people. It is part of what motivates people and there is no way of getting around that unless we are made into robots. Your view is Utopian and never gonna happen.

You have a very negative view on humanity. My view is realistic and WILL happen eventually.

First we started as band societies. Then proto states. Then city states. now states. The world has narrowed from countless band societes to a little over 300 states today.

That is a trend. A trend of unity. :clap

I have a view based on history. Survival of the fittest is ingrained in us. That is a natural instinct that is never going to be changed. Societies will always differ. Better communication will bring some unity but not what you have in mind. You think the Taliban is going to give a rats ass about the rest of the world? You are young and idealistic. You have much to learn yet.

Yes. Bring my age into it. That justifies your arguement. Wow. Sorry, I cannot debate this with you becasue I obviously haven't the maturity to understand the extent of what i'm saying.

You win
