The congressman insisted he's staying in office after admitting he lied about sending lewd photos — but he may not have a choice.
Anthony Weiner probably wishes his shirtless photo -- among other images -- hadn't been made public. But that beefcake picture actually puts the Democratic congressman in select company.

What irritates me is how much press this kind of stuff gets. No wonder Americans are oblivious to the daily Washington machinations that affect our daily lives and the future of our children. There is no grilling of our representatives for their continued support of the PATRIOT ACT and their ever increasing infringement on the rights and freedoms of We The People but when a weiner shows his weiner, the press is all over that like stink on shit. Is that a reflection of the press or is it a reflection of the people.....?

I think he should step down ASAP, not necessarily for what he did, but for the blatant lies.

Pelosi has already called for an investigation by the ethics committee.

I think politicians should be held to a higher standard.

They should be immediately impeached for any bold faced lie, whether it be about politics or who's penis is being shown around.

Even a 10 years old could have figured out this one.

I don't listen to him often but flipped the radio on in the car and Sean Hannity said he was aware of more stuff to come out and that he did not see how Weiner could do anything but resign. This was a half hour before the press conference.

Anybody who thinks this is going to fade away is just as delusional as Weiner is.

I think if anybody ever fit the definition of a dick head it has to be Anthony Weiner
