What are your feelings on this? I believe that humans rank above animals but that we have a responsibility to protect them and prevent cruelty as far as possible. When it comes to testing on them I agree with it if its for medical use like cancer drugs ect but not for unnecessary cosmetic testing. I agree with hunting if its for food or necessary pest control but not otherwise and I only agree with killing animals when its done as quick and painless as possible.

Very good PETA debating at the end.
Animal rights are debatable until the end of time. Animals do deserve to be treated nicely, however, meat is a big part of us as humans. We need certain minerals, etc. that only meat can provide. And religion can't be used, because even in the days of Jesus, he, along with others, ate meat.

Animals should have protections. Not necessarily "rights".
