Yes i see it as free speech, but I could see a photograph of a naked 14 year old girl as freedom of speech as well--even though its legally child porn. So I'm just not sure what way to take this.

Again it'd have to be case by case, and I'd hate to be the guy to decide where the line is.
The concept of free expression has been an integral part of successful democracies. It's pretty easy to spot when something is wrong, the hard part is determining as you mentioned, when it crosses the line into illegality. At what point should criminal penalties apply? It's a moving line based on societies standard or in the case of Singapore and other oppressive regimes, the line moves far to the right when the ruling parties grip on power feels threatened.
