Well app killers have been proven to lower your battery life because relaunching apps uses more battery life than starting one back up from idle. I used to use one until I was told this, unless its been changed I might as well give it another chance
:eek Not really?! Okay, that's good to know. So I won't kill apps anymore.

How much are you guys on your phone to have a dead battery before the day is gone?
Are they eating batteries while in standby as well?
Not very much as I don't use my cell phone for any business, but just for private things: checking emails, using What'sApp - these things.
But as I was at home yesterday, I didn't use it much; especially not that much to justify a one-day-batterylife...
(My last cell phone's battery used to work almost a week..)
@how to save energy:
By reading a lot of advices concerning this problem I found out that the following things can be done to save energy:
- switch off wi-fi whenever not needed as it uses much power
- switch off blue-tooth
- switch off app's background synchronization
- use automatic display light intensity
- switch off GPS reception
- use a darker display background instead of very light background pics
The worst energy sucker is the display itself...unbelievable.. -__-
I've ordered a better battery (1500mAh instead of 1300) on Amazon and will keep both batteries on full charge so I can swap them when needed.
I love this handy, but this energy thing is annoying. :mad
(Just to mention it: I've put it off the charger half an hour ago. I checked emails once, checked facebook and twitter once, sent one sms and one message via WhatApps. - And now the battery shows 99%... )
