So I went back to fledglings to see if I could get better shots in a bit better lighting, and geuss what happens this time?? :D

Well first off the lighting was 50 times better and the bird moved into a much better position

It was also closer, and she was so tame I could have probably pet her, I was sooooo close!!!

'course, when the actual feeding came the mom called her back further into the bush and I couldn't get any good pics, but I thought these were pretty dang cool anyways!

try upping your shutter speed and ISO a little

Exactly what i would suggest, the first would be awesome if it didnt look like it was cropped and missing parts :(

And the last one, try to get more focus on the object in hand and not the surroundings, looks like the camera has caught onto the vertical bit of plant and focused mostly there

Photography isn't about the luck of the draw. I mean it took some patience to follow those birds around, but anyone can do that. I see photography as an art, and I don't just want to 'point at shoot' when I get lucky.

My shutter speed was about as high as I could get it for the light conditions :( maybe when I have a flash again...
