Sign me up on the "moron" squad. Sorry, but I've never onced worried that someone would smoke to much pot and then get behind the wheel of a car and wipe out my family due to their impairment. FFS, smoke enough pot and you won't get off the fucking couch!!! (NOTE: That's a guess...I don't know that for a fact, LOL) I have told my niece and nephew before that aside from the obvious legalities I would much rather them experiment w/ marijuana than alcohol. Never seen anybody choke and die on their own vomit b/c they smoked to much pot. IJS.
 
Okay, and what has everyone else been saying? If you are an irresponsible person SOBER, than you SHOULD NOT be doing those things. If you are a responsible person when you're sober, than you are a RESPONSIBLE person when you're intoxicated. You're way of thinking stays the same. Just like women who like to sleep around, they'll do it when they're sober and they'll do it when they're drunk. But all of these explanations are for naught because you're set in your ways and aren't willing to open your mind to the fact that there are plenty of responsible people in this world that can drink and not be stupid.

Look, I have a cousin, few years older than me. She started out smoking pot and now she's progressed to the harder drugs - cocaine, heroin, you name it, she does it. She's so thin it's scary, her hair is limp and dry and she looks practically half dead. This is a kid I used to have such fun with and she's not the same person anymore. I am convinced that if she never tried pot, she wouldn't be the drug addicted person she is today.

She is too far gone to be helped, but there are other people who are thinking about doing drugs and I think those people are stupid because I know what drugs can do to you. I don't want anyone to turn themselves into the walking dead like her. If that makes me a bad person, well, so be it.

You should tell your cousin the story I posted last week of my brother.

I don't believe pot to be a gateway drug, but it's personal opinion. My brother actually blames ecstasy for leading him down the road to all the other stuff he tried.

Depends on your definition of okay. He's alive. But he suffered a traumatic brain injury which will affect him for the rest of his life.
 
I've been socially smoking (not cigs, dont smoke those) for 30 odd years on and off, and have NEVER tried anything else....and that all kinds of strains from leaf to hydro.

I never did when pregnant, and totally stopped for about 3 years a while back...and never had withdrawals when I did.

The old "it will lead to harder stuff" was the scare tactics your parents used, so you wouldnt start up...(and possibly raid their stash):ninja
