Well, I can't say as though I'm disappointed with the X-Factor results, as I believe all 3 people deserved to be there (Especially after hearing the final 12 all sing again. Phew) but I also wasn't as happy as I wanted.

So today, I have to get a gift card for papa's wifey, a birthday card for my mother, and stocking stuffers for Abbey. I'm not sure what you put in a stocking for a 2 year old, but I'll figure it out.

Then perhaps a movie. It's relaxing to be able to be here on a Friday with no requirements to be anywhere. I don't have to drive anyone anywhere, I don't have to meet anyone anywhere. I am thrilled.

Holy shit that was close.. I saw X factor in the post and scrolled away.... I have not watched either episode yet! No spoiling it for me!

So Phoenix government has a program where they will help put up to 15k down on a foreclosed house to help you purchase it.

That is freaking incredible. And hopefully is a sure sign that I will be buying a house in 2012! :D

I about had a complete emotional breakdown this morning when I realized I don't think I know how to read music anymore.... :(

The one thing I was good at...and I almost assuredly can't do it anymore...

I'm impressed that you could ever do it at all! I've never been able to, despite trying to learn the guitar when I was 14 :)

I started playing the viola when I was in 3rd grade. I played up through the first half of my junior year of high school. I miss it like crazy, but I don't think I could go back to playing in college now. It's been 7 years since the last time I played, and I don't think I can read the music anymore. :(

OK.. I FINALLY watched the X Factor final episodes... The results went down as I had predicted, but not as I hoped.. I REALLY wanted Josh to win, but I was sure Melanie would.. we actually skipped to the results after watching the performances.... We'll watch the other fluff stuff later.. And thanks for not spoiling it! I didn't want to even come back to the thread until I had seen it!

It was as I had expected as well. Like you, I wanted Josh to win. But I heard that they all have recording contracts anyway, so it's all good.
