She's had a phlegmy cough for 8 days now. She got a runny nose after the drastic weather change last week, and I didn't think it was a big deal. Especially since all the kids had one. But then she developed a cough, and she told me last night that her chest hurt...so I don't know. She's already had strep throat three times this year, so I'm hoping it's not that again. If it is, or if it's bronchitis, I'm going to inquire about what we can do about preemptively taking care of something like this...like a tonsillectomy or something.
Damn, poor Abbey.It sure has seemed like she gets these things all the time. She can't seem to win.
No, she can't. And I don't know where she gets it from, because none of the other kids at my aunt's has had strep. At all. Since she started going.

At least it's just a cold. Except for the fact that there's nothing I can do since they don't make any actual cold meds for kids under 4. I've been giving her homeopathic stuff, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

I'm mad. I made meatloaf for dinner tonight, and it smelled soo good.
And then it had no flavor.
Because the stupid pan I bought at the store last week has a trap and it was pulling all the juices away.
I am annoyed. It had minced onion and garlic in it and everything and it was gonna be so good. But it fucked up. So I used the little bit of meat I didn't already use to make the loaf to make four little burger patties that turned out pretty good. At least I know now that when I use it next time and don't use the tray thingie, it'll taste good. I'm just pissed that I wasted like a pound and a half of meat for a disaster.
This has not been my week.
My mom is throwing a fit because she's finally getting her hernia removed (for the third time, mind you) on the 1st and the surgeon told her she can't pick up Rudy anymore and she's being a brat about it. It doesn't mean she can't hold him anymore, but fuck. She's already had the damn thing removed twice and it keeps coming back because she won't just STOP being a pain in the ass and lifting things she shouldn't.

I'm going to go watch the x factor, color in my coloring book, and make notecards for my test next week.

I started playing it last Tuesday to give me something to do with my free time. It's pretty fun, as MMOs go. I'm mostly past that phase in my life, but it gives me a little variety, as the weekends can get long and boring.
