So I am now enrolled in

BIO201 - Human Anatomy and Physiology I
CFS176 - Child Development
PSY240 - Developmental Psychology
PSY266 - Abnormal Psychology

I technically don't need PSY240 since I already completed PSY101, but if I want to work with children, it's not an altogether bad idea. CFS176 is in there for a similar reason. As far as Abnormal Psychology goes...it just sounds so incredibly interesting that I didn't want to drop it, and BIO is a pre-req for admission into the nursing program.

After this semester, when I get accepted into the nursing program, I'll need to take BIO202 (Anat/Phys II) and BIO205 (microbiology), ENG102, and the 5 nursing courses, ending with a clinicals "class".

And to think, after this semester, I would've been three classes away from graduating with my AA.

I am truly crazy.

It also dropped the cost of my textbooks by about $400, seeing as how I dropped two classes, and picked up one that doesn't require a textbook. So that's nice. :D

And my tuition dropped by ~ $100, as well. Woot.

Off to the hospital to go see my little brother.

Fortunately, the doctor said it doesn't look like they'll have to open him back up. However, he will have to stay over the weekend. :(

Poor little guy needs a break already.

Thanks, Melissa. He's doing pretty good, he just somehow got an infection in the incision from the back surgery they did about a month ago. The doctor said he'll probably just be there over the weekend and then can go home, which is good. School starts in a little less than two weeks for him.
